Both our churches, Christ Church in Wellington and Holy Trinity in Hadley are wonderful places for a wedding.

We enjoy working closely with couples to plan their wedding. Time is given to each couple to discuss and thoroughly prepare their ’big day’.

Should you wish to be married in one of our churches, you will be invited to a wedding preparation evening in January/February time in the year of your wedding. This is an opportunity to come and meet us if you haven’t done so already and begin to think about the practicalities surrounding a church wedding; choosing hymns, music, readings and other aspects of the service. Then we will arrange to come and visit you in your homes nearer the date of your wedding and finalise the plans for the service.

Before your wedding day a rehearsal is booked to allow you and other key members of the wedding party to meet together and know what will be happening at your wedding.

If you live in our parish but are being married in a church in another parish you will require Away Banns to be read, please fill in an Application Form and we will get back to you.
