Firstly, baptism and Christening are different names for the same thing.

Baptism is the first step on an amazing journey with God. Here we follow in the footsteps of Jesus who himself was Baptised, and enter into a relationship with him through the symbols that take place at the service.

Baptisms take place at Holy Trinity on the first Sunday in the month at 12:30pm and at Christ Church on the third Sunday in the month at 11:30am.

If you are interested in having your child Baptised or would like to be Baptised yourself (yes, it’s not just children!) we will help you prepare. It couldn't be easier to enquire. All you need to do is come to our Breakfast Church which takes place at Holy Trinity Hadley on 1st Sunday of every month. Arrive any time after 9:30am for a free breakfast and just ask for an application form. We can help you fill it in and get the ball rolling straight away. It's also a great way to get to know you before the baptism.
