Firstly, baptism and Christening are different names for the same thing.
Baptism is the first step on an amazing journey with God. Here we follow in the footsteps of Jesus who himself was Baptised, and enter into a relationship with him through the symbols that take place at the service.
Baptisms take place at Holy Trinity on the
first Sunday in the month at 12:30pm and at Christ Church on the
third Sunday in the month at 11:30am.
If you are interested in having your child Baptised or would
like to be Baptised yourself (yes, it’s not just children!) we will help you prepare. You are invited to fill in a form below. If you have any questions, pop along to our office hour which takes place at Holy Trinity every Tuesday from 6:30 – 7:30pm. We will then invite you and the Godparents to our Cafe Church which takes place at Holy Trinity at 4pm on certain Sundays. Here we can pray for you all and really get you ready for the big occasion.
